Moldavite is a rare, olive-green tektite formed roughly 15 million years ago by a massive meteorite impact in central Europe. Renowned for its natural, chaotic glass textures and metaphysical associations with rapid spiritual evolution, it is found almost exclusively in the Czech Republic
Formed when a large meteorite struck the Nördlinger Ries crater region in southern Germany. The intense heat melted surrounding rock and soil, splashing it into the atmosphere where it cooled into glassy fragments before raining down over what is now the Czech Republic.
