Orthoceras fossils are remnants of extinct marine cephalopods, closely related to modern squids and nautiluses, which lived roughly 400–500 million years ago. Known as “straight horn,” these creatures had long, conical shells divided into chambers. Commonly found in Moroccan limestone.
